The president of commercial operations for Mission Pharmacal Company since 2010, Terrell Herring possesses more than three decades of pharmaceutical experience. With a formal education in biology and marketing, Terrell (“Terry”) Herring assists Mission Pharmacal with regular product improvement and expansion and provides essential leadership to the sales team. Espada Dermatology, Inc., a subsidiary of Mission Pharmacal, recently acquired the GlyDerm skincare line. Designed to reduce the signs of aging, GlyDerm topical products facilitate and regulate the release of glycolic acid into the skin. An a-hydroxy acid and common beauty product often used in facial peels, glycolic acid can help relieve acne and pigmentation issues and minimize wrinkles and fine lines. In the field of anti-aging, glycolic acid has been found to stimulate collagen, improve the skin’s hydration and firmness, and encourage skin cell production, which in turn accelerates skin growth. Mission Pharmacal plans to offer other body care products through Espada Dermatology and will also maintain its already established Mission Pharmacal dermatology lines of prescription topical products designed to ease dryness and itching, as well as other skin conditions.
