When he is not making key decisions regarding the strategic direction of Mission Pharmacal, Mr. Herring enjoys following the National Football League’s New England Patriots franchise. Instead of the usual game film study session after a routine Sunday practice, owner Robert Kraft arranged for the New England Patriots an exclusive screening of Mark Wahlberg’s recently released movie, “Deepwater Horizon,” at Showcase Cinema de Lux in Patriot Place. Before the movie started, the team was treated to a surprise meeting with Mr. Wahlberg, who introduced the film about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, April 2010. Deepwater Horizon follows the tale of crew member Mike Williams, portrayed by Mark Wahlberg, and others who lived the devastating oil rig explosion. The film was an inspiring reminder for Coach Bill Belichick and his team about the effort and commitment it takes to be successful. Deepwater Horizon also features Kurt Russell, Kate Hudson, Gina Rodriguez, and John Malkovich. |
