Terrell Herring serves as a president of commercial operations at Mission Pharmacal Company and as president of Alamo Pharma Services. Inspired by the leadership of Stonewall Jackson, Terrell Herring has incorporated many of Jackson’s leadership techniques in his own life, and even wrote and published a book entitled Marching Orders for Leadership Success: Inspired by My Hero Stonewall Jackson. Marching Orders for Leadership Success shows that there are still many valuable leadership lessons to be learned from Stonewall Jackson’s dynamic military feats. It explains how military leaders today still use Jackson’s tactics and approaches, and that even business leaders can use them as well. The book also details Jackson's process of reaching a position of leadership—and succeeding in such a role—by knowing his people, strategizing well, learning through following, inspiring trust in those following him, and having passionate faith in his cause. Each of the nine chapters of the book explains these topics in further detail; in particular, how they apply to modern-day leadership. Marching Orders for Leadership Success: Inspired by My Hero Stonewall Jackson is available for purchase on Amazon.com.
